På Scandic Sjöfartshotellet kan du bo till kraftigt rabatterat pris. Villkoren är att du kan legitimera dig som aktivt yrkesutövande sjöman. Giltiga handlingar/intyg som gäller; svensk sjöfartsbok (senaste avmönstring ej äldre än sex månader) samt senaste lönespecifikation (ej äldre än sex månader). Rederi-ID gäller EJ.
To receive the discount, you must be a Swedish sailor with a Swedish seafaring record (deck, engine and quartermaster personnel and officer) or sail for a Swedish shipping company.
Seamen residing in Stockholm County are not eligible for a discount.
For foreign seafarers, the seafarer's discount only applies in connection with embarkation or disembarkation in Stockholm.
Room guarantee is valid until 12:00 noon on the day of arrival.
The discounted price can be obtained for a maximum of 20 days during a six-month period from the first overnight stay. The discounted price only applies to individual sailors on a private visit to Stockholm. The discount applies not i tjänsten (inkl. kurser/utbildning (arbetsrelaterat) samt visum) och/eller när resan betalas av någon organisation eller arbetsgivare/egenföretagare/eget rederi.
The accommodation cost is currently from 300:- SEK for a single room and 500:- SEK for a double room. The price includes a delicious breakfast buffet.
The accommodation cost is paid upon check-in after you have filled in the special registration form, completely with all the information. (Filled in at each check-in.)
For seafarers seeking work, the accommodation cost is reduced provided that the following conditions are met:
• You are registered with one of the country's seafarers' agencies (all documents must be presented - including a medical certificate to the officer) for certification.
The certificate from the Seafarers' Agency and identification must be presented when checking in at the hotel.
• You have been employed by a ship/shipping company for the past 6 months. The jobseeker discount only applies to accommodation Monday to Friday in a single room.
Only applies if the sailor pays out of his own pocket and cannot be invoiced. The discount applies to non-pensioners.

The Seafarers’ Hotel offers rooms with conciderable discounts. To get benefit of these discounts you have to identify yourself as a working seaman. Certifactions that you have to show up on your arrival/check in at the hotel is following; Seamens book or log in to your personal site at Transportstyrelsen.se for your lates sign in/sign of toghether with your latest specification wage. Please note the certificates has to be issued over the last six months. Registration cards issued by shipping companies are not valid.
The discounts are not available for seamen living in Stockholm.
To obtain the discount, you must be a Swedish seaman. Seamen of foreign nationality are only eligible for discounts when paying-off or signing on in Stockholm.
The discount is only available for a maximum of 20 days during a period of six months. The discount for seamen is only available for visits not paid for by any employer. For the moment, the cost for a sinlge room is from 300 Swedish Krona (SEK). A double room from 500 SEK, depending on availability. The price of the room includes a generous breakfast. Having registered by filling in the registration form, the bill has to be settled before occupying the room. (This procedure is applied every time you check in.)
For seamen seeking employment, a reduced room fee will be applied if the following conditions are fulfilled:
1. That you have a certified registration at any Seamen´s employment exchange in Sweden.
2. That you have been employed by a Shipping company during the last year.
3. That all your documents are valid and correctly filled-in, including a doctor´s certificate.
4.That your filled-in registration form has been certified by the Seamen´s employment Exchange or by an employee at the Katarina Seamen´s Club.
